camp. (: it made me learn many things, made me realise alot of things too.
i guess many times, the way you're brought up does alot to who you are now, who you will be when you grow up.
and honestly, sometimes it's quite scary how people (yes myself included!) still think that the world revolves around them, how they still think it's their right to know every single thing, how they have the right to do anything they want to.
(: oh well.
for me, i guess i learnt that i'm not such a big shot after all. like, who says my friends can't have a good time just cos i'm not around, and who says I can't have a great time just cos i'm not with my friends?
it kicked in really real for me during camp, that seriously Jesus is always with me. that even if i walk out of service to find that none of my friends waited for me, SO WHAT?
and of course, it was so hard when it was happening to you then and there, right in your face. two of your closest friends just walking away from you, hand in hand, as if they never even knew you existed. it cuts pretty deep huh.
hahahah i know it sounds kinda silly now but oh well. the entry's are partly to remind myself anyways.
but it's like. as hard as it was, Jesus was there. with me and with them. it was just a quiet knowing, the kind that grabs your heart, and you just know that though you might be alone, everything's gonna be alright.
i guess i learnt also that Daddy is that big to ensure that you'll never be forgotten for longer than you can take.
hahah okay that kinda sounds abit weird too but at the moment i can't really think of better phrasing.
oh well. bottom line is that you will never walk alone. (: cos Jesus is always and forever by my side, holding my hand when even i couldn't love myself.
(: that's one of the things that really got me this camp. (:
