my God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
with wisdom, power and love
my God is an awesome God.
yes. my God is an awesome God.
He is faithful. very faithful.
and He really really loves me alot. i'm so so precious to Him.
He'd go to the ends of the earth just to be with me, when actually i am worth nothing at all.
He cares so much about even the littlest details of my life.
He even knows the exact number of hairs on my head. not just because He's God, but because He cares. He bothers.
my every tear is precious to Him. He keeps them in a bottle.
when i cry, He cries with me.
when i smile, He smiles with me.
He lifts me up from my fears and shame.
He will never leave me nor forsake me.
nothing i can do could make Him love me more. nothing i have done could make Him close the door.
through the hardest times of my life, He was there.
when i felt so alone, He was there.
when i felt like life wasn't worth living, He was there.
when i needed Him most, He was there, carrying me upon wings of eagles, to soar high over my mountains of defeat.
now this is love, that a man gave up His Son for His friend.
God is that man. i am that friend.
amazing love, how can it be?
that You my King would die for me?

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for taking my sin on the cross. thank You for dying on the cross for me so that i might have eternal life. You are my victory, You are my divine favour and health. thank You for loving me. from now on, i am a precious Child of God, and the devil has no more power over me. You are the victory in me. thank You Jesus for loving me. i love You too. Amen.
